We invite alumni to continue to participate actively in the Ƶ community and to rely on our services.

Premium Library Content

As a graduate of the Ƶ, you have virtual access to many on-campus libraries, their respective collections, and several premium library databases. Accessing the premium databases (JSTOR, Mergent Online, Proquest Alumni Edition, and Sage Journals) and other resources requires you to log in using your alumni directory username and password. The databases are accessed through the .

If you don’t have this set up already, you can create a new login account by emailing alumni@rochester.edu.

Please include:

  • Your name—include maiden or former names
  • Mailing address
  • Class year
  • School(s) from which you received your degree

Libraries

You may continue to use and borrow print books from River Campus Libraries with an Alumni ID card. Cards may be obtained free of charge from the River Campus ID office located in the Customer Service Center on the first floor of Susan B. Anthony Hall. Career Support Resources for Alumni

Less than 5 Years Post-Graduation 
Recent graduates and young alumni can meet with a Warner career professional via Zoom for career consultations regarding their application materials, job search strategies, workplace concerns, and other questions. For a short period after graduation, you can access all the resources and technology while you retain your active directory (Net ID). 

Once active directory access is restricted, you have access to the following technology: (through the alumni login for entry-level jobs and internships), (career exploration and assessments), (short-term, virtual employer projects), (jobs/internships/webinars for international students), (short term, micro-internships), and (Rochester’s professional connection platform)

5+ Years Post-Graduation
Alumni, in addition to 1:1 consulting with Warner’s career professional via Zoom on any issues/challenges you may have encountered, you also can access the following free technology: (through the alumni login for entry-level jobs and internships), (career exploration and assessments), (short term, virtual employer projects), (jobs/internships/webinars for international students), (short term, micro-internships), and (Rochester’s professional connection platform).

Ƶ Career Services

Take advantage of the services and resources available to alumni through the Ƶ Career Center. Warner graduates are also encouraged to seek advice and counsel from their faculty advisors on job searches in their educational area of specialization.

Parking

Park on campus for free one day each month to attend lectures, use the library, or visit with a favorite professor. Stop at the Information Booth on Wilson Boulevard and identify yourself as a UR alumna/us. (Current employees and students excluded).

Alumni Insurance Program

The Ƶ is pleased to sponsor an Alumni Insurance Program as a service to alumni. The program offers a variety of attractively-priced insurance products, most of which are available to alumni, students, faculty and staff, as well as their spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, and siblings. Products include Auto, Home & Renters Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance, Travel Insurance, Pet Insurance, and Advisory Services. Consider a membership in the R Club and take advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities of the River Campus Sports Complex and the organized programs offered through Recreational Sports.

Announcing a new array of free online services—the Rochester Alumni Exchange—to keep alumni from all of the Ƶ’s schools connected to their alma mater and the 100,000 other Rochester alumni around the globe.

Campus Public Wireless Network

While Alumni are on campus, they can use the “UR_RC_GUEST” wireless network.  This network provides full access to .edu and .gov websites but has limited access to some .com websites.
