The school is a research-focused, graduate school of education within a Research I university. As such it is committed to improving education through advancing ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and research, preparing high quality practitioners and researchers, and supporting education reform. The school is further characterized by a commitment to social justice, collaboration across disciplines and constituencies, and integration of theory and practice. It is located in a mid-size city and offers a variety of public and private school systems in urban, suburban, and rural settings for school-based research consultation.
