Certification Outside of New York State

New York State has high standards for the preparation, quality, and licensure/certification of its professional educators. All academic programs at the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development that lead to New York State licensure/certification are designed carefully and comprehensively to fully meet or exceed state requirements. Our nationally accredited programs in Teacher Preparation, School Counseling, and K-12 School and District Leadership are registered accordingly with the New York State Education Department to qualify professionals for licensure/certification in those fields, in service of the public good and in accordance with the Warner School’s institutional mission. Additionally, successful completion of the Warner School’s graduate programs commonly satisfies or exceeds educational requirements associated with equivalent licensure/certification areas in other states.
