Biography
Marissa Davala joined the Warner School faculty in July 2024 in the counseling and human development department. She has seven years of professional experience as a counselor educator and supervisor. She is a licensed independent mental health practitioner and a licensed professional counselor in the state of Nebraska, along with being a board-certified telemental health provider. Her research focuses on couples counseling, the protective factors of monogamy theory, and trauma-informed care.
