ED453 3 Credits Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis This is the first course in the Applied Behavior Analysis course sequence and will provide students with a basic understanding of the terminology and applications of ABA. The primary foci of this course are to teach students introductory principles and methods used in ABA and to explore the application of these methods in educational and other settings, including how to apply the practice to improve the quality of life and valued outcomes for individuals diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. This course is a co-requisite for all other courses in the ABA sequence, but does not require admission into the program to register.
