Martha Mock honored for furthering inclusive higher education efforts Teaching & Curriculum Higher Education Share Professor of Teaching and Curriculum Martha Mock, the director of the at the Warner School of Education and Human Development, is the recipient of the 2024 Debra Hart Policy & Practice Leadership Award for her outstanding work to further inclusive higher education opportunities. She was recognized at the (SOTA) at the end of October.Under Mock’s leadership, the Center for Disability and Education has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing a national accreditation process for inclusive postsecondary education programs. The National Coordinating Center (NCC) at Think College in partnership with the Center, recently initiated the establishment of a national accreditation agency for inclusive higher education, known as the Inclusive Higher Education Accreditation Council (IHEAC). Mock chairs the Accreditation Workgroup for the NCC at Think College, which played a crucial role in the development and launch of the accrediting processes.
